Change The Narrative

WELCOME From Mr P LEE | Headteacher

I would like to welcome visitors to our website for Q3 Academy Langley – whatever your interest in our academy we hope you find the information useful. I am incredibly honoured to have been appointed the first Headteacher at Q3 Academy Langley (in 2016) and along with my dedicated and committed team of staff we will ensure that all students feel safe and excited as they embark on their secondary education with us . We are now into our seventh academic year of operation with approximately 1400 students on roll, aged 11-16.

Our unique transition curriculum ensures that all students achieve their potential and feel right at home at secondary school straight away and has drawn interest from far and wide with educators visiting us to find out more about how we facilitate this. We have outstanding teachers and utilising the knowledge and skills from our experience at Q3 Academy Great Barr, we are able to deliver an outstanding learning experience.

Our innovative timetable including the bespoke Horizon, Innov8 and Cloud 9 curriculum as well as a firm focus on EBacc subjects has led to us being the school of choice in the local area. We are a host school for the Exemplary Leadership programme meaning visitors from all over the UK and beyond (even from New Zealand in 2023!) come to see our unique approach to school. Family Lunch and Breakfast, the Company system and our Wednesday afternoon enrichment offer is unique and shows how we are #changingthenarrative for what is possible here in Sandwell.

In addition to this our DfE Performance Table results in 2024 show Q3 Academy Langley is one of the top performing schools not only locally in Sandwell but indeed across the whole of the Midlands. This means that I am extremely confident that students, parents and carers who choose Q3 Academy Langley will feel they have made the right decision from the very start and be excited to join the Q3 family on this exciting journey together as we see the academy grow to full capacity of approximately 1500 students by 2025.
