I would like to welcome visitors to our website for Q3 Langley – whatever your interest in our academy we hope you find the information useful. I am incredibly honoured to have been appointed the first Head of School at Q3 Langley and along with my dedicated and committed team of staff we will ensure that all students feel safe and excited as they embark on their secondary education with us starting initially in September 2016. We are now into our forth year of operation with approximately 900 students on role.
Our transition curriculum ensures that all students achieve their potential and feel right at home at secondary school straight away. We have outstanding teachers and utilising the knowledge and skills from our experience at Q3 Great Barr, we are able to deliver an outstanding learning experience. Our innovative timetable including the bespoke Horizon and Innov8 curriculum, Family Lunch and Breakfast, Company system and our Thursday afternoon enrichment offer is unique and sets us apart from other schools both locally and nationally. This means that I am extremely confident that students, parents and carers who choose Q3 Langley will feel they have made the right decision from the very start and be excited to join the Q3 family on this exciting journey together as we see the academy grow to full capacity of approximately 1500 students.

Daniel Parkes, CEO
Following the DFE’s approval of our planned merger with the Mercian Trust, Mr Daniel Parkes has been appointed CEO of the Q3 Academies Trust.
He is also the CEO of The Mercian Trust and will continue to be CEO following the legal merger.
Daniel is an experienced executive leader with a strong track record of delivering significant organisational change and school improvement through system leadership. He also serves on several advisory panels and non-executive boards within the education sector.
