Welcome to the Q3 Academy Langley Autumn Challenge! The purpose of the attached booklet is to give you an opportunity to continue your Pursuit of Excellence (one of Q3 Academy’s core ideals) outside of the normal Academy day.
Letter to Parents – Company Allocation
Your child has now been allocated their Company designation at Q3 Academy Langley (see above). Mr. Lee has given careful consideration to this process; students are coming from a number of primary schools and we therefore want to ensure all students get a chance to integrate successfully into their new environment.
Year 7 Trip to Birmingham Rep 14/02/18
Following last night’s incident at the Birmingham Rep theatre, we can confirm that we have spoken with the Rep and the trip will still take place today as planned. Students will leave the Academy as planned at 9:30 and return by 14.30. We have been informed that Birmingham Library is closed, so have amended our trip schedule to reflect this.

BBC One are currently casting for the third series and are on the lookout for fun and lively families and households to take part. This prime time series shows viewers how to spend without the splurge, helping to rein in spending but retain the lifestyle we all want.

PE and Enrichment Reminder
PE and Enrichment will take place on a Thursday for Year 8 and Thursday for Year 7. Therefore, on Thursday all Year 8 Students must come to the Academy in their PE kits and all Year 7 students must come to the Academy in their PE kits on Thursday.

eWeek at Q3 Langley
Since opening in September, we have had some truly special weeks, and Ethos Week (eWeek) ranks among the highest of them! This week saw fantastic attendance, engagement, effort and (of course) behaviour from our students, on each day. Monday saw the Wellbeing Crew deliver a range of sessions – from Tai Chi to Aromatherapy; Tuesday our P.S.H.E focus; Wednesday RISE (and P.E/Enrichment);
