Advice and Guidance
Educational Trips and Visits
The Academy is: CLOSED (Open to vulnerable students and children of Key Workers only)
As you will be aware from the latest news, the Coronavirus situation is ongoing and is being closely monitored. Public Health England has announced that places of education must close to the majority of students, and the Academy is managing this in liaison with the relevant authorities. We will continue to be vigilant and ensure the highest standards of hygiene are adhered to by our staff, students, and visitors to the Academy.
It has been announced that this summer’s examinations will not be taking place, but that students will not be disadvantaged by this process.
If the situation changes, we will of course inform you as soon as we are able. Please be assured that we are liaising with the relevant authorities, and are putting appropriate measures in place as advised, please check the Academy website daily for updates.
Please do not call the Academy unless absolutely necessary in order to allow our staff to prioritise care and supervision for the students that we have on site.
- If anyone in your household starts to display symptoms (high temperature or a new continuous cough) everyone living there must stay at home for 14 days and you should call the Academy to notify us of your child’s absence;
- Please check the website daily for Academy updates;
- In the event of a full or partial closure you will be notified by text and the website will be updated.
